1967 Ford Thunderbird Apollo

1967 Ford Thunderbird Apollo 2-seater

In 1966, Abercrombie & Fitch ordered five special 1967 Ford Thunderbirds to be used as displays in their stores. Detroit Steel Tubing Company took delivery of the hardtops and modified them with options as well as adding the landau style roofs. They called them the “Apollo”. (probably because of the NASA space program at the time)

Of course my iteration isn’t as how it was delivered… as I’d want it shortened to 1957 2-seat Thunderbird wheelbase length with a slight reduction of overhang on each end — and of course lowered a few inches and a few other minor changes.
